Road Trip

Animals going on a road trip.  Tried to keep it simple with the lines, shape, and colour on this one. 

*Update* I had the Giraffe facing to the right but a friend suggested that he should be facing forward to make it have a better flow. Once he pointed that out it made a lot of sense and I just had to change it cause it was bothering me.  So here's the final one with the giraffe facing forward. Thanks Wei!

I tried to do it an extreme angle....but i feel like i could push it even more or its just not balanced right.  Oh well...next time.

Gestures and Posing

I'm now practicing gestures and posing. I really enjoy drawing with pen. It forces me not to be too tight and just keep things rough and loose.

More hands

Now that I feel pretty comfortable with hands I think I'm gonna try to draw them in different styles....but I think I'm gonna take a break from drawing hands for a bit.....

After practicing hands I ended up drawing a boxer with boxing gloves...................

Just practicing drawing hands right now...I'll probably keep doing this for a bit longer.

1 year later....

So its almost been a year since i posted something...but i needed a break after school and i think a year was good enough. I've been working a lot and now I'm ready to start sketching again but i realized that there are a few things that I need to work on like hands, posing, expressions etc. so that's what I'm going to start concentrating on now.
